Visitors who wish to cross at the Rainbow Bridge between the twin cities of Niagara Falls may cross either by car or as a pedestrian. There is a $1 fee for travelling as a pedestrian on the Rainbow Bridge which can be paid in either currency. There is no fee when travelling by car into the USA from the Canadian side of Niagara Falls but a toll fee is required upon re-entry to Canada of $4 USD or $5.25 CAD.
