What you’ll do

On your walking tour of Niagara Falls USA, your guide will meet you under the archway leading to Goat Island. Goat Island is well known for having one of the most magnificent views of both the American and Canadian Falls. Here you will see the famous Nikola Tesla statue and learn about his contributions to the area and to the world in terms of modern-day electricity.
After visiting the Tesla statue, you will head over to Terrapin Point. The point sits on top of the Terrapin Rocks for which the point was named, due to their resemblance to a giant tortoise. From here, you’ll have an incredible vantage point overlooking the Canadian Horseshoe Falls and the lower Niagara Gorge.
Next, you will head to Luna Island which separates the American and Bridal Veil Falls. Originally known as Prospect Island, this Island has been renamed Luna for the famous lunar rainbows which were seen over it on bright, moonlit nights.
After your visit to Luna Island, your guide will lead you to the Three Sisters Islands. These islands are connected by bridges that allow guests to walk across them for a spectacular look at the Niagara River’s upper rapids before they drop into the Horseshoe Falls. Over the years, the natural beauty of the islands has inspired many painters.
For those who are not continuing on with the optional Maid of the Mist boat ride, your guide will give you directions to your car and some recommendations for the area. They will then end the tour and you will have free time to continue exploring Niagara Falls, New York on your own.
For those who choose to continue with the optional Maid of the Mist boat ride, your guide will bring you to the Prospect Point Observation Tower for an up-close look at the Falls before heading down to the boarding site for the iconic Maid of the Mist boat ride where you will embark on a refreshing ride by the Falls.

Admission to Maid of the Mist is not included in the base price of the tour, an additional fee will apply for guests who choose this option.

The exact length of time for tour may vary slightly based on individual walking speeds.

As there is a lot of walking on this tour, we would recommend wearing comfortable shoes, dressing for the weather and wearing sunscreen. You may also wish to bring water.

Masks are required for this tour. We provide them free of charge or you may choose to bring your own.

Tour is stroller/wheelchair accessible.
