Prospect Terrace Park offers visitors a stunning, panoramic view of Providence and has been referred to as “The Jewel of the City”.

Founded in 1869, Prospect Terrace Park, also known as “The Jewel of the City, for its stunning view of Providence houses a 15-feet tall granite statue of theologian Roger Williams gazing over the city commemorating his promotion for religious freedom, under that statue is a tomb with his remains.

The park attracts visitors for its beautiful panoramic view of the city, with its elevated view granting you the opportunity to look at some of the city's most prominent landmarks such as the Rhode Island State House and Providence Place Mall, while also offering the perfect place to watch the sunset.
