PEI’s famous Cavendish Cliffs are located in the Green Gables Shore area of PEI and are part of PEI National Park. These cliffs get their signature colour from the high levels of iron in the rock which turn red when oxidized, in other words, the colour is caused by natural rusting.
At the Green Gables Heritage Centre you will get a chance to see the Green Gables House which inspired the setting for Lucy Maud Montgomery’s famous novel, Anne of Green Gables. While here you can also check out several other sites and museums to learn more about Anne and Montgomery.

Full refunds will be issued to guests that provide notice of cancellation via e-mail or telephone at least 24 hours prior to departure time for all day tours. Cancellations made with less notice than the time frames listed above will be subject to a $50 per person cancellation fee.
