- HOW LONG ARE THE TOURS?
Our tours range from half day 4 hour tours up to full day 8 hour tours. The tour lengths posted on the website do depend on traffic etc. Some days, especially on long weekends, the traffic in the area can be horrifying, therefore, the length of the tour may be extended by 30 minutes or so.
- HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL BE ON THE TOUR WITH US?
Our vehicles are able to comfortably fit 6 adults, or 7 individuals if there are children. We can also accommodate larger groups though if necessary.
- DO YOU PROVIDE LINE BY-PASS AT THE ATTRACTIONS?
Yes! Our tours do provide VIP entrances at the applicable locations. Although, this does not mean there is no line up at all, it means you will not have to wait in the public queue. On busy days there are multiple groups meaning sometimes there is a short wait but it is still much faster than the public entrances.
- IS THERE A LUNCH STOP ON THE TOUR?
If you have booked one of the tours that specifies that lunch is included (Helicopter tour/Canada USA Combo Tour) then yes, lunch is included. All of our other tours do not include lunch. There are times during the tour where you will have some free time with the ability to grab a quick snack but not a long enough break to sit down and have a meal.
- DO THE TOURS RUN IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
Our tours run every day rain or shine.
- CAN WE CHANGE THE TOUR TIME OR DATE ONCE WE HAVE BOOKED?
Yes, if we have availability on the day or time you would like to switch to, this is not a problem. We usually require at least 48 hours notice to change a tour during the busy season. Although, if something comes up, or you think the weather will be better on another day, it does not hurt to call and ask; we will be as accommodating as possible.
- CAN WE CUSTOMIZE A TOUR OR REMOVE ATTRACTIONS IF WE ARE NOT INTERESTED?
Our pre-arranged tours cannot be customized as there are multiple groups on the tour. You are able to opt out of the attraction if you choose so when you arrive there. We realize many people may have some fears of heights or enclosed spaces so some of the attractions do not have to be completed if you so choose.
If you do want to customize a tour, we do offer fully customizable private tours. These tours allow you to be in charge. You are able to pick and choose your start time, end time, the attractions you would like to visit and the length of time at each stop.
- Is there a lot of walking required for the tours?
There are portions of the tour that require some walking although most of the long distances are covered within the vehicle. We will get you as close to the attractions as possible. There is also wheelchair access at all of the attractions.
- Are ponchos provided for the attractions?
Yes! Any attraction where there is a chance of getting wet will provide you will a plastic recyclable poncho. You are able to keep these as souvenirs or rain gear if you so decide.
- Where do your tours pick up from?
Our Niagara Falls based tours pick you up from any Hotel, motel, bed and breakfast, air bnb, etc. in Niagara Falls Canada. Unfortunately, we do not pick up on the American side.
Our Toronto to Niagara Falls tour is the exception, this tour allows pick up anywhere in Toronto or between Toronto and Niagara Falls, Ontario.
- What if we are staying on the American Side?
If you happen to be staying the the American side and would like to do one of our tours, there are a couple of options. The rainbow bridge creates direct access from Niagara Falls, NY to Niagara Falls, ON. If you are able to walk across the bridge, (5 min walk) we are able to pick you up right on the Canadian side of the Rainbow bridge. If you are driving across see the following question.
- What If we are driving into Niagara Falls?
If you happen to be driving in to Niagara Falls from an outside location, we can arrange a spot for you to park your vehicle for the day while you are on the tour.
- Do we have to be dropped off in the same spot we were picked up?
If you decide at the end of the tour that you would like to revisit an area mentioned on the tour, or if you would like to go for lunch you do not have to be dropped off back to the same location. You can request to be dropped off at a restaurant, by the falls or anywhere in Niagara Falls. The tour guide will be as accommodating as possible.
- What is appropriate to wear for the tours?
Please dress in comfortable clothing. We also recommend dressing in layers as some days it can be cool or windy by the waterfall. The waterfall also creates a fair amount of mist that may cause it to feel like it is raining at times; bringing a light jacket for this situation would be beneficial. You are able to safely leave clothing in the vehicle if you decide you do not need it. We also recommend wearing running shoes as there is some walking included in the tour, but sandals are acceptable as well as your feet may get wet.
- Are we able to bring snacks or drinks with us?
Yes, you are more than welcome to bring a bag with snacks and drinks with you on the tour. You will have the ability to leave and store extra bags and clothes in the vehicle while you are out doing the attractions.
- Do my children require a car seat/do you provide car seats?
The law states that tour vehicles do not require children to be in a car seat. Therefore, we do not provide car seats. If you as a parent decide that this is necessary, you are more than welcome to bring a car seat along with you for your child.
